Harsher Punishments

Post by RonnyRonstar » Sat Nov 03, 2018 8:45 pm

In my opinion reporting a guy for simple things such as in NON RP or C-Bugging takes the same amount of time (Submitting Report, Video, etc.) I believe harsher Punishments for people above a certain Score is the right thing to do.
For Noobies, who have a toxic response though for telling them they are rule-breaking, should be jail sentenced aswell, less time than the experienced players though.

EXCEPTION: Shooting Suspect w/o reason is a common mistake, so it should stay the 8/9 minutes in jail.

Example:
Guy camps suspect around the corner.
Reporter telling him to stop
He denies, maybe even says "Fuck your mother" or something like that as a response
Reporter Reporting him on Forum/Discord
Jailtime higher than the report took, ( of course reporting like an old grandma is not included )
f.e. 20 Minutes Jailtime.

In my opinion if a jail sentence is usually 10 Minutes, it should be 20 Minutes. If it is 20 Minutes ---> 40 Minutes and so on.

Why so harsh Ronny? Pro Arguments are the reason why.

Pro's:
-Harsher Punishment = More caution after the release
-Makes people wanna think twice to get in jail ( Is it even worth it to rule-break now? )
-Having a cleaner community
-Scares off people who wanna fuck around

Con's:
-People disconnecting the Server, (Tho makes it cleaner in the amount of players who wanna play by rules)
-People may whine in /o (Tho they should get warned to stop)

I honestly don't see any flaws with the current punishment server.
If someone does continue rulebreaking and toxicity, they get temp banned (or that's at least what I do)

When an administrator comes to punishing a player, multiple things are factored.

1. The administrator's discretion and judgement.
2. Player level and activity status.
3. Attitude history.
4. General admin record.

I think the current punishment is fine. You don't want things too strict else, people simply won't play the game. If the rules are violated people will deal with the consequences

I don't really see any reason to make them harsher. From my understanding repeat offenders get banned

They do, if they break rules too much they'll get banned
