GAMEMODE RULES
_ ________________
1. MODIFICATIONS & THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
_
You may not use any modifications of any kind of third-party software to give you an advantage during gameplay. Such modifications accounts from simple gamefile configurations, CLEO, or hacking/cheat trainers.
_
Notify a lead administrator of mods you need approval of, the below are currently approved of:
__
• Camhack or similar freecams for filming/photography.
__
• Cruise control CLEO mod (to type and drive) as long as it's not abused.
__
• Vehicle ELM light mods.
__
• Frame Vigilante (The following will result in a ban if abused; swimming in the water to evade),
___
__

_ ________________
2. RESPECTING OTHER PLAYERS AND STAFF MEMBERS
_
You are to respect all players, donators and staff members alike. You may not insult and disrespect each other ICly or OOCly over any medium be it in local or global OOC, admin chat, or private messages. The server is to be a positive environment for communication and fun. Discriminating and bullying other users, be it gender, racial, or offensive in any shape of form is strictly forbidden.
__
This also includes usernames and targeted /radio use.
__
__

_ ________________
3. SPAMMING & FLOODING
_
You are not allowed to repeatedly spam unnecessary messages of any kind or flood the servers' chatlog with the same message on any chat platform. _
This rule includes, but is not limited to: ___
• Using the megaphone binds (/m1, /m2, /m3) rapidly.
• Abusing commands such as /report and /PM. ___
• Server advertising.

An exception is made to some megaphone commands such as HSIU notices and administrative intrusion during gameplay, but with a certain limit.

__
__
_ ________________
4. ENGLISH IN GLOBAL CHATS
_
The server welcomes all nationalities and cultures to the server, but for the sake of keeping communications standards at ease this rule is implemented. English is to be spoken through all public chats, including IC chats such as the radio or megaphone.
__
Non-English can be spoken in /PM or designated language channels such as /tr.
__
__

_
________________
5. PUNISHMENT EVASION
_

Creating a new account, signing in with an alternative IP address, a proxy, or abusing the servers' script commands to get out of any form of administrative punishment - be it a mute, jail or ban is strictly forbidden and will be faced with server blacklisting. Along similar lines, sharing accounts, especially with banned players or as a banned player to others, is not allowed and could result in both players being blacklisted.

__

__

_ ________________
6. RUSH TASING & TASING
_
An LEO may not taze, beanbag, or cuff a suspect(s) when the suspect is opening fire or water evading. You may also not taze or beanbag a suspect as a passenger in a drive-by stance. LEO(s) may not taze the suspect the instant he exits the primary escape vehicle (LEOs are to wait 5 seconds after exit). You may not tase a surrendered suspect (/handsup, /hu or /ff) and you must roleplay cuffing the surrendered suspect properly with /me's and /do's. You may also not kill, shoot or hit a cuffed/tased suspect, doing so will result in administrative punishment. A suspect can NOT fake surrender, i.e do /hu or /ff and then do /sa and start shooting or running again - once you do /hu or /ff you must allow yourself to be cuffed.
__

__

_ ________________
7. RAMBO
_
During an active gunfight, you should hide for cover before shooting if able. However, you may not go head-on into a fatal tunnel or the suspect(s) themselves when they have their guns drawn out in front of you, but you must look for cover, unless the situation forces you to rush them in case they are barricaded in an interior or in an awkward position (only if the cops are equal or greater in number than the suspects). Rambo INCLUDES running towards cops despite not having shot as a suspect, in order to get near or behind them with the intention of opening fire. Suspects can rush during a gunfight if the suspects out number or are equal to the amount of cops present and only inside interiors. Additionally, we consider rambo to be also the following, pushing a vehicle which you're using for cover in order to get closer to the suspects/cops so you can gain an advantage over them.
__
__

_ ________________
8. RAMMING
_
You may not ram anyone, suspect or cop, if they are on-foot, even in active gunfight. However, you may ram a suspect's vehicle using your own as a cop, but the following guideline(s) must be applied:
______
• You may not suicide ram (driving head-on or in to their sides at high speeds). This applies to both suspects & cops.
______
• You are to NEVER ram your teammates.
______
• You may not ram an UNOCCUPIED vehicle which serves as cover. This applies to both cops & suspects.
______
Bikes (HPV1000, Sanchez, NRG500) may never PIT a car but a car may PIT a suspect bike.
______
• During active gunfire, you may not ram a suspect(s) or teammate(s) vehicles at arrival.
______
• A helicopter may not ram and cannot be rammed by vehicle(s).
______
• You must be careful not to ram the suspects or cops near the water, in order to not get them into it.
______
• Cops should always give suspects the opportunity to pull over before beginning to ram them, avoiding blocking them if they stop, and forming a line behind them.
______
__

_ ________________
9. NON-RP DRIVING
_
During a purusit, you are to drive somewhat realistically as this server does have roleplay elements.
____
Non-RP driving includes, but is not limited to (for both pursuers/evaders):
______
• Driving off cliffs, be it into grass or into water is forbidden.
______
• Flying off high roofs or elevated platforms (e.g. Skatepark Road to LS Highway for ambulance pursuits).
______
• Driving up super narrow ledges, such as a bridge arches and anything similar.
______
• Purposely driving your car into the waters (sea shores, rivers) is forbidden unless at the end of a round (last 5 seconds-ish).
______
• Bike stunts or stunting using hydraulics is forbidden (bumping edges to gain height).
__
• Flying with a helicopter too low is not allowed. If we can hear the helicopter on the ground, you are likely too low. Up to admin discretion.
__
•Intentionally driving off any Building or Cliff/Mountain/Large Hill is strictly not permitted and is considered a 'stunt jump' or 'stunting'. Enticing others to ram you off said locations is also considered intentional stunting.
Any other stunt ramp or jump that has not been blocked by mapped objects you are permitted to jump/stunt with.
You are also allowed to stunt off elevated roads (e.g East Beach raised road on to the highway OR from Idlewood in to the sewers).
__
__

_
________________
10. BUG ABUSING _
Abusing the server script, or game physics and/or SA-MP mechanics, in away to gain advantage is strictly forbidden.
____
Common bugs to be made aware of:
______
C-bugging: Crouching quickly and tapping space after a shot to rapidly fire from a gun.
______
C-Slide: Abusing the crouching/standing up animation to slide to places without wasting stamina.
______
C-rolling: Cancelling the roll animation in order to stand up quicker than normal.
______
Crack Shooting: Firing a shot standing then instantly crouching immediately to fire another with a handgun to get quick-shots.
______
Biker MP5 Driveby: Spawning a MP5 as a biker to be able to shoot as you drive.
______
Blocking entry points: Using a vehicle to block an entry point to an interior, such as Jefferson Motel, Jizzys Club & others.
______
Anti-ram script: Purposefully running infront of a cop who's driving & killing them when the script has frozen them.
______
Olympic swimming: Abusing SAMP mechanics in order to manipulate the game so you can swim quicker than normal speed.
______
Litefoot: Abusing GTA game mechanics in order to cut animations so you're able to shoot & move quicker.
______
: Abusing GTA game mechanics to push a vehicle which has no occupants in order to get it further away from the cops to repair.
__
GTA: San Andreas is an outdated game and has its own fault and errors, alongside SA-MP; developing a script for the server
can bring a wave of bugs with it. However, sharing or using those bugs will lead to punishment. Instead, you can help us better
the server by submitting a bug report on discord or here on the forums.
__
__

_ ________________
11. NINJA-JACKING
_
During a pursuit round, forcing a person out of the car while they're in any seat is forbidden for both suspect(s) and LEO(s). You must roleplay getting them out first with /me, then asking if you were able with /do.
__
__

_ ________________
12. NON-RP CLOTHING
_
Players have the choice to pick whatever skins they want and accessories to modify their look. However, it must be something rather realistic and reasonable, in other words, not troll clothing.
_____
These guidelines should also be followed:
_______
• You may not switch your skin to a LEO skin as the suspect or vice versa.
_______
• Cops using any and all undercover/civilian skins must have a vest/armour/kevlar attachment, /att.
_______
• You may not accessorize your character with ridiculous objects (e.g. a bush, huge hair piece, a house).
_______
If you switched out of the default skin, you can check it again using /skinlist. Skin ID 280 is the default server skin.
Administrators have the final say on whether your skin is acceptable or not.
__
__

_ ________________
13. UNFAIR SPIKING
_
At a certain level, you will gain access to /spike, which deploys a stinger/spike strip that disables a vehicle(s) tyres for both LEOs and suspects. However, there are times these can be used unfairly.
____
The spike 'unfair' usage rules are not limited to this list and are at admin discretion:
______
• You may not spike the exit points of Bayside; you may spike the end of the bridge and tunnels.
______
• You MUST remove the spikes after placing them (/removeobject).
______
• You may not set a spike perimeter around an active boxed suspect vehicle, nor can you spike a dead-end, even if the suspect is moving.
______
• You must not spike Burrito spawns or drop-offs.
______
• You may not bail out of your vehicle/off your bike in order to spike a suspect. It must be used in a realistic fashion.
__
__

_________________
14. MISUSE OF COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
_
You are to use your communication channels such as /radio, /megaphone intelligently and RPly. Yelling slurs such as 'lol ur gay' is deemed mixing and will not be tolerated. The same limitation can be applied to all channels. Using /ask or /askreply for anything other than asking and answering questions related to the script or rules is forbidden. Typing in other language channels where you do not speak nor understand the language to antagonise, provoke, insult or spam random letters/words is also forbidden under this rule.
Administrators have the right to warn or punish you for misusing the channels if it\'s deemed necessary.
__
__

_________________
15.SWIMMING
_
During pursuits and events, you have a maximum of 30 seconds in the water, to give you time to get to the NEAREST shore or boat, even if cops are already there waiting for you. You may not swim in random circles. You may not reset the swimming timer by any glitches. You may not enter the water willingly. Also, you should never shoot anyone in the water; this applies for both cops and suspects. Cops also should not tase, beanbag or cuff someone in the water.
__
__

_________________
16. ADMINISTRATORS HAVE THE FINAL SAY
_
In many situations, administrators have the final say unless an administrator of higher position (senior, lead or management) overrides that decision. A player is to always obey what an administrator says, if retaliated with a toxic attitude or ranting will probably lead to muted jail or a ban.
Administrators are human-beings and they can be mistaken. However, we are not exempt from punishment if we are to break any rules. If you happened to find an administrator abusing his powers or being outright disrespectful, feel free to
post an administrator complaint on the discord.

__

__

_________________
17. POWERGAMING

_
There is one current definition to powergaming —

1) Roleplaying something without giving a chance for the other player to roleplay back (e.g. rushing /cuff without giving a chance for others to resist). Included in this definition is denying someone's roleplay without a valid reason - if you say "no" to someone's /do, give a valid reason as to why not. Simply saying "no" and refusing to eloborate is still powergaming.

Don't try to be clever, administrators have the final say whether something is powergaming/non-RP.
There are times where you do not need to consent the other player for roleplay for obvious success, but you still need to roleplay it. For example, if someone has been tased, you have to roleplay the cuffs in /me, but don't have to ask for resistance via /do.
__
__

_________________
18. REPAIRING
_
Both cops and suspects can repair their vehicles. Cutting the repair animation in any way shape or form is not permitted. You cannot purposefully destroy your vehicle, as a suspect, in order to repair it after being shot at or driving into an object by mistake.
__

__

_________________
19. AFK'ING
_
You cannot AFK once beanbagged/tased to avoid roleplay of being arrested. You can not go AFK in /dm, doing so will result in a kick, even if 'you were only gone for a few seconds'. It is courtesy [although not required] to join the lowest open lobby on /lobbies if going AFK for a long period of time, to free up space in the busier lobbies.
__

__

_________________
20. TEAMING/CORRUPTION
_
You may not team up with the other team (cop w/ fugitive or fugitives w/ cops) in pursuits, operations or other events.
You may not team up with any other player in /dm or /soyo arenas.
__

__

_________________
21. ASKING FOR EVIDENCE
_
It is strictly forbidden to go "where is the evidence" or anything along those lines. If Evidence is needed by an administrator in an administration complaint or elsewhere, a higher ranking admin will ask that admin to post evidence. You are not to ask.
__

__

_________________
22. CALLSIGNS/PLATE
_
The only two requirements for /callsign and /plate are:
a) The callsign or plate is not toxic or offensive, and
b) The callsign or plate is not in violation of any other rule (e.g. impersonation).

__

__

_________________
23. CARSURF
_
Carsurfing is generally not allowed on any vehicle, with some exceptions:
a) It is possible to stay on top of an FBI Truck as long as there is only 1 player on the roof, and
b) It is possible to stay on helicopter bars, where present (/tog helibars).
__

__

_________________
24. COMMON DECENCY
_
Common decency can be defined as stripping a player of a cuff and/or additional kill on their stats or anything else which a player might earn/achieve by playing the game. You can/will be punished for doing the following;
______
• Purposefully suiciding whilst being a suspect/cop in order to avoid dying/being cuffed.
______
• Leaving the game as you're about to be and or actively tased whilst being a suspect.
______
• Quitting the game or leaving the chase (/leavechase - applies to cops) whilst you're being shot at. (Applies to both suspects & cops.)
__

__

_________________
25. ROLEPLAY RULES
_
Roleplay rules help the server function during active pursuits due to the nature of the script with the ability to actually roleplay in-game. Roleplaying actions such as pulling someone out and cuffing them are mandatory. You also cannot purposefully ignore roleplay or give unrealistic reasons to someone's roleplay. The following can be considered against the roleplay rules;
______
• Giving unrealistic reasons or little to no reasons at all to someone attempting to get you out of a vehicle.
______
• Ignoring all attempts to roleplay with you whilst boxed.
___
Giving responses to what you'd find on a roleplay server such as but not limited to; Punching, seatbelt being buckled in, minor inconveniences such as the door not been able to open fully or pulling the door closed.
______
• During a pursuit round, jumping repeatedly to get somewhere faster is forbidden.
______

We have decided to publish our punishment list so that the players are aware of how our staff team decides the duration of a punishment for players. The following list has been announced to the staff team recently and should be active:

  • 1st Offence - Warn or kick
  • 2nd Offence - Jail 5 minutes
  • 3rd Offence - Jail 10 minutes
  • 4th Offence - Jail 15 Minutes
  • 5th Offence - Jail 20 minutes
  • 6th Offence - Temp ban 1 day
  • 7th Offence - Temp ban 7 days [1 week]
  • 8th Offence - Temp ban 14 days [2 weeks]
  • 9th Offence - Temp ban 1 month
  • 10th Offence - Permanent ban

There is an exception to this and that is if a player violates a rule that directly affects the round, be it suicide ramming, cshooting/cbugging, shooting a player in the water (cop/suspect) or any other rule that if violated the outcome of a round will change and make people lose score or gain score then the staff members can skip the warning and proceed with a jail.

The list above will be excluded when it comes to punishing people for Punishment Evasion (Using alt accounts to avoid sitting in jail/avoid a warning) which is an instant ban as it is stated on the in-game rules & on this thread.

We encourage people who think they have been punished unfairly to open a complaint instead of ignoring it as it does affect their record and we take records into consideration before issuing punishments. Opening an admin complaint complaint via Discord (click me for an invite link) will cause no harm to anyone as this system exists just so players can report any actual unfair treatment & other abusive administrative behaviour.

by Rixas
13th December 2022
Removed Tapping/Using RADS on bikes being prohibited.

Rule Change - RAMMING: 15th December 2022

Added "or cops" to "• You must be careful not to ram the suspects or cops near the water, in order to not get them into it." to add fairness between suspects & cops. Additionally, "• You may not suicide ram (driving head-on or in to their sides at high speeds)." now applies to both suspects and cops in order to promote fair play between everyone.

Rule Change - RAMBO: 16th December 2022
Suspects can now rush cops if they are equal to or more than the cops inside an interior to promote fairness between both as before, you'd simply have to sit there and wait out the timer if you outnumbered the cops. With this change, you can now also rush cops outside if you outnumber the cops present. Note that you must have shot before rushing any cops, outside or inside an interior.

Rule Change - Non-RP clothing: 30th December 2022
Added the different wording for vest in order to make it more clearer if you use any different variations.
Removed; Using the skin ID 0 (CJ) is strictly forbidden.

Rule Change - BUG ABUSING: 30th December 2022
Removed; G-abuse: Drive-by shooting as a passenger while the driver is not in the vehicle.
Deagle Driveby: Firing from the Desert Eagle as a passenger is overpowered and unfair.

Rule Change - SHOOTING WITHOUT [W/O] REASON: 30th December 2022
Removed; • You may not shoot the driver and/or other passenger(s) if only one passenger opened fire.

The above removals were done as they serve no purpose as a rule anymore as they're all either not working/unable to replicate anymore due to it being fixed.

Rule Change - REPAIRING: 30th December 2022
Removed; You can not repair HSIU vehicles more than once per vehicle. — Removed due to script limitations in where you're not longer able to repair a HSIU more than once by script limits.

January 2023

Rule Addition - ROLEPLAY RULES: 1st January 2023
Added roleplay rules in order to help the server function more smoothly for the suspects to know what is against the rules when it comes to roleplay and what would be considered too much. This can be subject to change so keep an eye on it frequently.

Rule Removed - Keybinds: 1st January 2023
Removed this rule due to the fact it was a rule for when we held a roleplay mode on the server and now it is no longer needed.

Rule Amendments - All decreased by 1: 1st January 2023
All rule numbers were decreased by 1 due to the removal of Keybinds.

Rule Changed - Bunnyhopping: 10th January 2023
Bunnyhopping category has been removed and placed into RP rules in order to centralize where all the rules surrounding roleplay is.

Rule Changed - Bug Abusing: 10th January 2023
Vehicle Abuse has been slightly re-worded in order to corelate to other rules. It now only revolves around pushing a vehicle out of range of the cops to repair.

Rule Changed - Non-RP Clothing: 10th January 2023
The following has been removed; • Accessorize at your own leisure and use creativity, just make sure to be original and stand out (no copying/impersonation)! - we find that this is no longer necessary as it serves no actual purpose.

Rule Removal - 22. IMPERSONATING ADMINISTRATORS/STAFF: 10th January 2023
This rule has been removed due to the fact that impersonating staff is no longer possible due to factors such as Discord where everything is handled. This does not mean you can have names similar to current staff members or use previous names which staff members may have held.

Rule Removal - 24. TARGETING/STREAM SNIPING: 10th January 2023
This rule has been removed due to the fact it'd be impossible to know whether someone is being targeted or not as majority of the time, people are targeted if in a situation such as drive-bying in order to help the suspects/cops either to stop the passengers from shooting by killing the driver or killing the passengers first as someone is typically targeted.

Rule Amendments - All decreased by 1: 10th January 2023
All rule numbers were decreased by 1 due to the removal of the two rules above.

Rule Addition - MIUSE OF COMMUNICATION CHANNELS: 16th January 2023
Added the following in order to minimise the amount of spam which occurs in language channels along with other subjects touched on the addition: Typing in other language channels where you do not speak nor understand the language to antagonise, provoke, insult or spam random letters/words is also forbidden under this rule

Rule Removal - Shooting without [w/o] reason: 17th January 2023
It served no purpose due to the cops not being able to damage the suspects before they have shot and only was there for an annoyance rather than a rule and it ultimately served no purpose due to that fact.

Rule Removal - Multiaccount/Punishment Evading: 17th January 2023
This is already covered by other rules and therefore was removed entirely from its own category.
